The Millennium Gate is a classically-styled monumental arch located inside Atlantic Station in Midtown Atlanta, historically called “The Gate City.” The Gate is designed in the tradition of classical Roman triumphal arches that have been built across the world over the past 2,500 years. The Gate houses a 12,000 square foot museum that tells Georgia’s and Atlanta’s history through interactive technology, film, period rooms and exhibitions.
The Millennium Gate’s mission is to preserve and interpret Georgia history, architecture, culture and philanthropic heritage as well as highlight Georgia’s historical and aesthetic relevance to the United States and to the world.
The 102 foot tall building houses a rich and comprehensive history museum open to the public for a fee from Monday to Friday and by appointment weekends and holidays.
In addition to sharing the Millennium Gate and Museum legacy with Atlanta, Georgia, and the world, the Millennium Gate makes its facilities available for corporate and private events.
